Dust haze conditions to prevail across the country, says NiMet

Hazy weather

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for Tuesday, January 9, 2018:

NORTHERN STATES: Dust haze conditions are anticipated over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 29 – 33℃and 10 – 16℃respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Hazy conditions are expected over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 – 36oC and 14 – 20℃respectively, except over Jos where 28℃/12℃day and night temperatures are expected.

SOUTHERN STATES: This region is expected to be in hazy conditions throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 34℃and 18 – 25℃respectively.
