President Goodluck Jonathan this evening named the Chairman, Vice Chairman and Secretary of the National Conference scheduled to hold from late this month to May.

A statement ‹‹‹‹‹‹‹just issued in Abuja and signed by ‹‹‹‹Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, said:

“His Excellency, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has approved the appointment of the Leadership of the National Conference as follows:

“(i) Honourable Justice Idris Lebo Kutigi‹ – ‹Chairman

(ii) Prof. Bolaji Akinyemi‹‹‹ – ‹Vice Chairman

“(iii) Dr. (Mrs.) Valerie Azinge ‹‹‹– ‹Secretary

“2.‹The appointees are to resume at Abuja on Wednesday, 5th March, 2014 and would be received on arrival by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.”
