The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for Thursday, December 28, 2017:

NORTHERN STATES: Dust haze condition is expected over this region with horizontalvisibility in the range of 2 – 5km throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 27 – 30℃and 13 – 17℃respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Dust haze conditions with horizontal visibility in the range of 2 – 5km and localised visibility of less than 1,000m over places like Niger and Yola throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 27 – 34℃and 11 – 21℃respectively, except over Jos where 26℃/11℃day and night temperature are expected.

SOUTHERN STATES: Dust haze conditions are anticipated over this region with horizontal visibility range of 2 – 5 km. However, few places around the inland and the coastal cities may have localised visibility of less than 1,000m. Places like Obudu, Ogoja, Lagos, Ijebu-Ode, Ibadan, Akure, Benin, Owerri, Akwa and Uyo may experience early morning fog/mist. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 – 33℃and 15 – 21℃respectively.
