The Federal Ministry of Finance has announced the release the sum of N200 billion for the execution of various capital projects under the 2014 budget framework.
The announcement was made this evening in Abuja by the Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, via a statement signed by her Special Adviser, Paul C Nwabuikwu.
“This is the first release of capital expenditure for the year and will be followed by others,” the statement said, adding:
“The release signposts the determination of the Federal Government to ensure that clear and measurable progress is achieved in the execution of capital projects.”
