Weatherman says: Expect sunny and hazy weather in the North today, clouds elsewhere

Hazy weather

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for Tuesday, November 7, 2017:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are likely over most parts of the region during the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 33 – 37℃and 16 – 19℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are anticipated over most parts of the region during the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 36℃and 20 – 24℃respectively, except over Jos where 28℃– 13℃day and night temperatures are expected.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy conditions are expected over the region with prospect of isolated thunderstorms over Uyo, Warri, Asaba, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Eket and its environs during the morning hours. Chances of localised thunderstorms are anticipated over Port Harcourt, Yenagoa, Abeokuta, Ijebu-Ode, Ikeja and its environs during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 – 34℃and 20 – 25℃ respectively.
