The Nigerian Meteoreological Agency (NiMet) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition forSaturday,November 4, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES: Dust haze conditions are expected with visibility of 2-5 kilometres. Places like Katsina and Nguru are likely to have visibility of equal to or less than 1,000 metres during the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are anticipated to be in the ranges of 34 – 37℃and 16 – 21℃respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are anticipated over this region during the morning hours. Later in the day, dust haze is expected to prevail over Abuja, Jos, Minna, Bida, Lafia and their environs. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range 35 – 37℃and 21 – 25℃respectively, except over Jos where 29 /14℃.
SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected over the region with prospects of localised thunderstorms over Enugu, Akakaliki, Ikom, Calabar and Eket in the morning hours. Localised thunderstorms are likely over Akure, Ondo, Ijebu-Ode, Lagos, Enugu, Owerri, Awka, Warri, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Uyo and Lagos in the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 31 – 34℃and 21 – 25℃respectively.
