El-Rufai’s Chief of Staff loses mother

Late Hajiya Ramatu Saidu

Mother of Bashir Saidu, the Chief of Staff (COS) to Governor Nasir El-rufai of Kaduna State, is dead.

The COS told our reporter that his mother, Hajiya Ramatu Saidu, died around 7:45pm on Wednesday in Zaria after a protracted illness.

She was buried according to Islamic rites around 10am at Ungwan Magajiya Zaria city.

Deputy Senate Leader, Bala Ibn Na’Allah, Chairman Senate Committee on Works, Senator Kabiru Gaya, Governor Nasir El-Rufai and the Executive Secretary, National Board for Technical Education, (NBTE), Dr. Masa’ud Kazaure, among other early mourners, prayed to Allah to grant her Aljanna Firdausi, the family, the people of Zaria and the State the fortitude to bear the loss.
