National Assembly summons Aviation Minister over airport concessioning

Aviation Minister of State Hadi Sirika

The National Assembly has summoned the Minister of State for Aviation, Hadi Sirika, over the concession of four major airports in the country.

General Secretary of the National Union of Air Transport Employees, Olayinka Abioye, confirmed the development to the News Agency of Nigeria.

The airports planned for concession by the federal government include Lagos, Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt Airports.

The unions had suspended their 15-day ultimatum it issued to government following the intervention of the Minister of Labour, Dr. chris Ngige.
