Delta State Employment and Expenditure for Result Project (SEEFOR) has trained 12,000 youths in different skills in the state.

Coordinator of the project, Mr. Benson Ojoko, disclosed this when chatting with journalists in Asaba, the state capital.

According to him, SEEFOR project is set across the nine states of Niger Delta in collaboration with the World Bank to assist states in economic and social development. It is one of the veritable tools Delta State government is using to advance and enhancing opportunity for youths employment.

Ojoko added that community development project is another project SEEFOR executed.

He stated that the project is to advance the economic development of the state, and that the office of job creation and women affairs development is in consonance with the SEEFOR.

“They also give grand to technical and vocational institutions to improve the learning environment, empowering youths with market relevant skills and employment,” Benson said.
