Weststar introduces 2014 Jeep Wrangler, Grand Cherokee in Nigeria

Lovers of Jeep brand of vehicles are in for a good time this 2014 as Weststar Associates, the authorised general distributors of Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge in Nigeria, introduces the all new 2014 Jeep Wrangler and the elegant new 2014 Grand Cherokee in the country.

Manufactured by American automaker Chrysler under its Jeep brand and currently in its third generation, the Jeep Wrangler is a sports utility vehicle that was born to rule the trails.

Awarded in 2013 by the ‘Four Wheeler Magazine’ as the “Four Wheeler of the Year” for the third consecutive time, the Wrangler, since its inception in 1987, has undergone the major design revisions, and through the changes the Wrangler legend continues to be regarded as a fun choice and an exciting adventure for everyday driving.

With its fender flares, iconic seven-slot grille and 18-inch sparkle silver wheels, the 2014 Wrangler is stylishly capable without compromise, and is definitely the SUV to have.

The Wrangler Jeep includes the attractive four-door Unlimited Wrangler Sahara, the Four-door Wrangler Rubicon and the two-door Wrangler Sport which has full metal doors with roll-up windows, comes with rear compartment storage space and a front stabiliser bar.

The Grand Cherokee, on the other hand, according to Weststar, “is a resilient and beautiful piece of Vehicle that simply exudes passion and greatness. Yet there is nothing simple about its expansive menu of capabilities that have been designed to work together in true harmony to combat harsh weather and master any type of terrain.

“With its attention to detail and boasting Best-in-Class fuel economy, luxury, efficiency, innovation and confidence, the Grand Cherokee’s standard of performance and luxury are unrivaled. This purebred is incredibly smooth to drive and undeniably controlled.

“It has the Natura Plus Leather Trim, Open-Pore Wood and Suede-like premium headliner which guarantees Luxury and a new 8-speed Automatic Transmission which glides through gears, enabling quick acceleration and smooth shifting. In addition, the standard 3.6L V6 engine delivers 285 horsepower.

“Unlike some, the Grand Cherokee has over 60 standard and available safety and security options. These include Front Park Assist, Adaptive HID Headlamps, Forward Collision Warning with Crash Mitigation, Park View Rear back-up Camera with new dynamic grid lines, driver inflatable knee airbag, electronic stability control, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross Path Detection. Also, new steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters offer manual shift and control.

Besides sales, Weststar and its authorised dealers offer remarkable after sales services for all Chrysler products, with up to date service workshops, as well as experienced mechanics and technical personnel.”

In addition, there’s the newly introduced Jeep+ Card. “This is a way of awarding our loyal Jeep customers with rewarding benefits,” said Mirko Plath, the Managing Director of Weststar.
