Frontline governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the November 18, 2017 governorship poll in Anambra State, Mr Oseloka Obaze, has taken a strong lead in the on-going primary of the party holding at the Dora Akunyili Women Development Center in Awka, the state capital.

The voting, which commenced at about 3:30 p.m., had the presence of all the party delegates from the 326 wards in the state as well the statutory delegates.

Two aspirants, Hon Linda Ikpeazu and John Emeka, had earlier withdrawn from the race.

Emeka cited adulteration of delegates list as the reason for his withdrawal while Ikpeazu gave no reason.
