Police trains officers and men on use of arms

Anambra Police Commissioner Garba Baba Umar

Following directives by the Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim K Idris, during the last IGP Conference, the Anambra State Police Command on Wednesday organised a general lecture for officers and men of the Command.

The lecture was spearheaded by the Commissioner of Police, CP Garba Baba Umar, at the State Command Headquarters Awka.

Issues discussed included Use of Firearms, Discipline, Zero Tolerance for Corruption, Respect for Human Dignity and Professionalism in Accordance with International Best Practices. Others include Community Partnership, Visibility Policing, Police Welfare and Attitudinal Change. (PRNigeria)
