Charly Boy leading an anti-Buhari protest in Abuja
Concerned Nigerian youths have vowed that they would be marching to the Presidential Villa on Wednesday to mark President Muhammadu Buhari’s 100 days absence.
This group, led by the Charles Oputa (popularly known as Charly Boy) and Deji Adeyanju, was seen on Tuesday at the Wuse Market in Abuja, while protesting the long absence of the President from the country.
A staunch member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, Adeyanju said during the riotous moment that President Buhari lacked integrity, adding, “if the President had any integrity he will honourably resign.”
However, the Police took over the market to avoid total breakdown of law and order, while gunshots and tear gas were fired to scare trouble makers and avert crisis.
Meanwhile, Charly Boy escaped being attacked by some hoodlums in the market.
