The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Tuesday, July 4, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy morning is expected across this region with the prospect of thunderstorm over Maiduguri, Yola and Nguru. In the afternoon, Kano, Katsina, Jigawa and Yobe are expected to have thunderstorms. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 31 – 38℃and 22 – 25℃respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: This region is expected to be cloudy in the morning. In the afternoon, places like Jos, Abuja, Gombe, Kaduna, Lafia, Lokoja and Bauchi are expected to have thunderstorms. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 29 – 32℃and 18 – 23℃respectively except Jos at 28/18oC.
SOUTHERN STATES: There are prospect of cloudy conditions in the morning with the prospect of rains over Badagry, Calabar, Ikom and Eket. In the afternoon/evening, places like Osogbo, Akure, Ado-Ekiti, Obudu, Awka, Onitsha, Benin, Enugu, Abakaliki, Yenagoa, Calabar, Uyo, Port Harcourt and Eket are expected to have thunderstorms. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 28 – 31℃and 21 – 25℃respectively.
