Cloudy weather
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Tuesday, June 20, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy morning is anticipated over this region with prospects of isolated thunderstorms over Sokoto, Yelwa and Kebbi while there are chances of isolated thunderstorms over Damaturu, Potiskum, Gombe, Maiduguri and its environs during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 29 – 38℃and 21 – 26℃respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy morning is expected over this region except over Yola, Lafia, Abuja, Jos and Mambilla Plateau where there are chances of localised thunderstorms. However, there are prospects of localised thunderstorms over Abuja, Minna, Kaduna, Ilorin and Bida later in the day. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 – 32℃and 21 – 24℃respectively, except over Jos where 27oC and 16oC day and night temperatures are expected.
SOUTHERN STATES: The inland cities of this region are expected to be cloudy in the morning hours except Eket, Ikom and Obudu that experience rains. There are chances of localised thunderstorms over places like Enugu, Akure, Owerri, Ibadan and its environs in the afternoon/evening hours. The coastal cities will experience rain throughout the day. The day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 29 – 32℃and 21 – 23℃.
