BNYL National Leader, Comrade Prince Obuka
National Leader of the Biafra Nations Youth League (BNYL), Comrade Prince Obuka, has reacted to northern youths threats to expel the Igbos from the North and the three months given to Igbos to quit the North in reaction to the resurgent Biafra struggle.
Speaking in Owerri, capital city of Imo State, Comrade Obuka faulted MASSOB Leader, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike’s peace move which saw him holding meetings with northern leaders in Kaduna early this week.
The BNYL Leader stated that the action by Arewa youths “is in favour of the struggle as it will help make our people especially business class to think home, and it clearly shows how divided Nigeria is.”
While welcoming the development, Comrade Obuka stated that the movement will react negatively if any Igbo blood is shed anywhere in the north, he made it known that this is not 1966 Igbo massacre that the East only reacted by just expelling northerners.
In reaction to MASSOB -BIM peace move, the BNYL Leader said it was too early, adding that it shows some are not prepared for Biafra independence.
