The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today,Monday29,2017:
NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy conditions are expected over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and Night temperature value are expected to be in the range of 38 – 40℃and 24 – 26℃respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are anticipated over most parts of this region with prospects of localised thunderstorms over Jos, Kaduna, Minna, Bida and Yola axis in the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 36℃and 23 – 25℃respectively except Jos with 25/16℃.
SOUTHERN STATES: Increase in cloud coverage is expected with chances of localised rain over Lagos and Calabar during the morning hours. There are prospects of localised thunderstorms over Ado Ekiti, Oshogbo, Abeokuta, Owerri, Awka, Abakaliki, and Port Harcourt during the evening/night period. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 31 – 35℃and 21– 25℃respectively.
