The Matriarch of Nta family, Lady Mary Atim Walter Nta, the mother of Mr Ekpo Nta, Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), is dead.
She died after a brief illness in the early hours of Thursday, April 4, 2017 at her hometown, Ndukpoise in Nsit Ubum Local Government of Akwa Ibom State. Aged 90, Madam Nta was a social and education mobiliser of her community. She is survived by many children and grand children.
