Cloudy weather
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Friday, April 28, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy condition is expected to prevail over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 36 – 41℃ and 24 – 28℃ respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy condition with chances of localised thunderstorms will be experience over Makurdi, Lafia, Jalingo, Mambilla and Obudu during the morning hours. There are also prospects of localised thunderstorms over the high ground areas such as Jos, Lokoja Abuja and Southern Kaduna later in the day.
Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 37℃ and 22 – 25℃ respectively except Jos 30/20℃.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudiness is expected over the region during the morning hours. Afternoon/evening localised thunderstorms are anticipated over the coastal cities such as Port Harcourt, Calabar, Lagos and Yenagoa. Also to be affected are the inland areas like Akure, Ado Ekiti, Benin, Oshogbo, Owerri, Enugu, Awka and Abakaliki Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 29 – 33℃ and 21 – 25℃ respectively.
