Cloudy weather
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today,Thursday, April 13, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are anticipated over this region with chances of localised thundery activities over Yobe and Yola during morning hours. There are prospects of localised thundery activities over Zaria, Kano and chances of localised thundery activities over Yobe and Yola during morning hours. There are prospects of localised thundery activities over Zaria, Kano and Yelwa axis later in the day. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 35 – 42℃and 18 – 29℃respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Localised thunderstorms are likely over Jos, Lafia, Kaduna, Jalingo, Ibi and Mambila Plateau axis during the morning hours while pockets of thunderstorms are expected over the high grounds of the region in the afternoon/evening hours. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 28 – 37℃and 18 – 27℃respectively.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with prospects of thunderstorms over Enugu, Awka, Owerri and Abakaliki in the morning hours, while the Inland cities of the south-west are anticipated to experience localised thunderstorms during the afternoon/evening period. Localised thunderstorms are expected over the coastal cities throughout the forecast period. Day and Night temperatures are expected to be within the range of 29 – 37℃and 22 – 26℃respectively.
