The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today,Thursday, March 23, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES: This region is expected to experience sunny and hazy conditions.
Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 37 – 40℃and 18 –24℃respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected in the morning with chances of isolated thunderstorm over the high ground and thundery activities over Yelwa in the afternoon/evening hour. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 38 – 39℃and 22 – 27℃respectively except Jos with minimum and maximum of 16℃and 32℃.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected over the inland and the coastal cities with prospects of localised thunderstorms over places such as Lagos, Port Harcourt, Eket, Calabar, Yenagoa, Warri, Oshogbo, Ado-Ekiti, Enugu, and Awka and Benin during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 34 – 37℃and 22 – 28℃respectively.
