Osun State Police Command has arraigned an artisan, Kolajo Alabi, before an Osogbo Magistrate Court for allegedly defrauding one of his customers.
The Police Prosecutor, Dopamu Olukayode, told the court that the accused person duped one of his customers, Kunle Olowolagba the sum of N650,000.
He said Alabi collected the money under a false pretence to deliver 39 aluminium windows to the complainant.
He added that the offence committed by Alabi is contrary to and punishable under sections 390(9) and 419 of Criminal Code Cap 34, Volume II, Laws of Osun State of Nigeria, 2003.
The accused person however pleaded not guilty of the charge. His counsel, Mr Tunbosun Oladipupo also implored the court to grant his client bail in the most liberal terms.
In his ruling, Magistrate Olusola Aluko granted the accused person the bail of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case till April 14, 2017.
