Sunny weather
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Wednesday March 22, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES:This region is expected to be in sunny and hazy conditions with localized horizontal visibility range of 3 – 5km during the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 38 – 40℃and 20 – 24℃respectively.
CENTRAL STATES:Partly cloudy conditions are expected over the central cities while cloudy conditions are anticipated over Lokoja and Makurdi in the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 37 – 40℃and 23 – 28℃respectively except Jos with minimum and maximum of 16℃and 32℃.
SOUTHERN STATES:Cloudy conditions are expected over the inland and the coastal cities with prospects of localised thunderstorms over places such as Lagos, Port Harcourt, Eket, Calabar, Yenagoa, Warri, Oshogbo, Ado-Ekiti, Enugu, and Awka and Benin during the afternoon/evening hours.
Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 34 – 38℃and 21 – 26℃respectively.
