A Magistrate Court in Osogbo, Osun State, presided over by Magistrate Olusola Aluko on Tuesday ordered that a 34-year old man, Akanbi David, to be remanded at Ilesa Prison custody for allegedly killing one Amodu Kazeem.
The police prosecutor, Mereti Wilson, told the court that David killed the deceased by stabbing him on the chest with a knife on the January 16, 2017.
He added that the offence committed by David is contrary to and punishable under section 316(1) and section 324 of the Criminal Cope Cap 34, Volume II, Laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2002.
The plea of the accused person was not taken.
In his ruling, Magistrate Olusola Aluko ordered that the accused person be remanded at Ilesa Prison custody and adjourned the case till May 5, 2017.
