A new dawn in multi-sectoral development is in the offing in Ondo State, thanks to the far-sightedness of Anlek-Pal Capital Projects Limited and Mosmith Holding Group GmbH & Co. KG working in synergy with the Ondo State Government.
News Express learnt that remains is for the final i’s to be dotted and the t’s crossed, culminating in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) before the end of the year. This, according to an informed source who spoke with News Express, will signal the start of multi-sectoral development in the following areas:
*Oil and Gas
*Bitumen development
*Limestone mining and cement production
*Mass housing
*Agriculture development
*Power station (Wind Energy/Green Energy)
*Urea/fertilizer industry
Anlek-Pal, a fully registered Nigerian company, is working in concert with its sister companies (Ad-lar Planning & Survey Nigeria Limited and 3TAAR Limited) and it consultants, De-Hope Int. Co. Ltd., headed by Dr. Elijah Oladele Ojo, and Mosmith, a respected global infrastructure development company headquartered in Germany, to bring this to fruition in Ondo State.
On its part, the Ondo State Government, known for its investor-friendliness, has given a pledge of its full commitment to the project. In a letter addressed to Mosmith and copied to Anlek-Pal, Mosmith’s mandate holder, the government assured of its readiness to see to the realisation of the project. A strategy dialogue has been fixed for November 20-22 this year, after which the project is expected to get off the ground in full speed.
Speaking to newsmen, the Chairman of Anlek-Pal. Mosmith’s mandate holder in Nigeria (with concurrent mandate to other parts of Africa), Apostle Adewale A. Adelekan (OMP), expressed satisfaction with the level of discussion done so far, stating that this synergy of the tripartite group is a model he recommends for other states in Nigeria.
Mosmith’s CEO, Michael Smith Ogu, in a statement released after his meeting with Anlek-Pal’s representative in Abuja, reaffirmed his commitment to 100% financing of the project by means of the German Cross-Border Financing Scheme, and to making Ondo State a mega-industrial state in Africa, thereby creating millions of jobs directly and indirectly for the indigenes and other Nigerians. He also averred that he had an abiding belief in the capacity of Nigeria to be a global leader, something Ondo state government’s disposition has sign-posted.
The meeting was witnessed by other members of the Mosmith team, including Alhaji Adamu Jubril, a renowned investor in the oil and gas sector.
