Rasheedat Ajibade and Michelle Alozie

Three overseas-based players have joined the Super Falcons’ camp ahead of Friday’s 2028 Olympic Games Women’s Football Tournament qualifying match against Comoros.
Rasheedat Ajibade, Jennifer Echegini and Michelle Alozie arrived in camp on Monday, bringing the number of players in camp to 21.
Ajibade and Echegini, both ply their trade in Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) of France, and Alozie, a defender with Chicago Stars of the U.S., were the latest arrivals.
The Super Falcons will face Comoros in the first leg of the qualifying fixture on Friday at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, Ogbunobi.
The return leg is scheduled for Oct. 13 at the same venue, with the aggregate winner advancing in the Olympic qualifying series.
Other players already in camp include; Roma defender Shukurat Oladipo, SCU Torreense forward Shakirat Moshood and Beşiktaş defender Glory Ogbonna.
Also in camp are Omenazu Favour of MK Dons, Nasarawa Amazons’ Farida Abdulwahab, Joy Igbokwe and Fatimoh Solaty, as well as Edo Queens’ Tumininu Adeshina and goalkeeper Christiana Uzoma.
The list also includes, Blessing Nkor of Dynamo Brest, Valentina Uroko of Edo Queens, Glory Edet of Bayelsa Queens, Sandra John of Rivers Queens and Suliat Abideen of Fenerbahçe Ladies.
Folashade Ijamilusi of Lianiong Baiye, China, Toni Payne of Inter Milan, Ucheibe Christy of Al-Hilal, Saudi Arabia, and Akekoromowei Janet of Benfica, Portugal, complete the 21 players currently in camp.
The team is expected to continue preparations ahead of Friday’s first-leg encounter. (NAN)
