Otedola and Adenuga
Billionaire businessman Femi Otedola has shared new photos of himself with Globacom founder, Mike Adenuga, after their meeting in Monte-Carlo, Monaco.
Otedola posted the photos with a tribute to the telecoms tycoon on Friday.
“The Chairman of Chairmen is in Monaco… Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger, Commandeur de la Légion d’honneur, Companion of the Order of the Star of Ghana, Michael Adeniyi Agbolade Ishola Adenuga Jr. F.Ote,” he wrote.
Adenuga is widely known for his reclusive lifestyle and rare public appearances, earning him the moniker ‘Spirit of Africa’.
His absence from the public scene has in the past triggered speculations.
In November 2024, rumours and fake obituary images claiming the Globacom founder had passed away went viral on social media before they were disproved.
He kept a low profile until July 2025 when he was seen at a public event.
In his absence, his daughter, Bella Disu, who is the Executive Vice Chairman of Globacom, often represents him at official functions.
Otedola had in April 2026 marked Adenuga’s 73rd birthday with a throwback photograph of the duo taken 24 years ago. (The Nation)
