Maverick Nigerian entertainer and activist, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has sparked reactions on social media after appearing in a pink skirt outfit at a birthday party.

Goldmynevibes share a clip form the event in a post on its Instagram page.

The post reads: “Legendary Charliy Boy arrives elegantly, making a grand entrance at the 70th birthday celebration of Chief Dr Chidi Anyaegbu, Con”.

In the viral video, the ‘The Area Fada’, as Charly Boy is fondly called by fans, wears a pink pleated skirt, which he paired with a matching pink blazer.

He complemented the outfit with black boots and a black hat that maintained his signature flair for unconventional and dramatic styling.

The Septuagenarian also accessorised the outfit with a distinctive black and silver necklace with his nickname, ‘Fada’, boldly written across it.

As he arrived at the event, Charly Boy walked confidently and struck several poses for the cameras on the black carpet.

However, the unusual outfit by Charly Boy has stirred reactions from netizens, especially from his teeming fans.
