BBNaija Season 11 housemate, Nomy
By KELECHI OGUNLEYE
Whitney Chukwu (Nomy) has been disqualified from the Big Brother Naija (BBN) Season 11 reality TV show.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Big Brother revoked her stay in the house after she refused to accept being the Bench Warmer for week seven.
Bench Warner is a punishment given to the least most participating housemate in the BBN Head of House (HOH) challenge.
After the HOH task, big brother directed Nomy to pick up the vest and bench to be used throughout the week by the bench warmer but she bluntly refused to pick them up.
“Nomy you are the bench warmer so big brother is curious why you left your vest and bench behind, what is your intention?
“Nomy kindly answer the question,” he asked.
Responding, Nomy said that she had no premeditated intentions and was not thinking about anything as to why she left the vest and bench behind.
“Last week you were reminded that participation is a privilege and effective immediately, your privilege is hereby revoked,” big brother said.
He gave Nomy 30 minutes to leave the house while ordering other housemates to head to the garden.
NAN also reports that Nomi had, previously, been issued a strike and given several warnings by big brother after flouting some of the rules guiding the house.
She is the 9th housemate to leave the big brother house as seven housemates were evicted while one took a voluntary exit. (NAN)
