The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Sunday, December 11, 2016”

NORTHERN STATES: Sokoto and Yelwa axis are expected to be under the influence of dust haze conditions with visibility range of 2-5km. The other parts of the region will experience sunny and hazy condition. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 34 – 39°C and 14 – 23°C respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are anticipated over the entire region throughout the forecast period. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 34 – 38°C and 17 – 23°C respectively, except over Jos with 29/14°C.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy morning is expected over the inland and the coastal cities while isolated thunderstorms are expected over Akure, Benin, Warri, Obudu, Calabar, Eket, Port Harcourt, Ijebu-Ode and Lagos axis during the afternoon period. The Day and Night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 33 – 36°C and 21 – 25°C respectively.
