The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Friday December 8, 2016.

NORTHERN STATES: Kano, Katsina, Nguru, Yelwa, Gusau, Sokoto and Maiduguri are expected to be under the influence of dust haze conditions with horizontal visibility range of 3-5km. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 37°C and 13 - 19°C respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are not unlikely over the region during the forecast period. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 34 – 37°C and 16 – 22°C respectively.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy morning is expected over the inland and the coastal cities in the morning hours. Partly cloudy conditions are also expected over the inland in the afternoon/evening hours with prospects of isolated thunderstorms over Port Harcourt, Calabar, Eket, Yenagoa and Ikom. The Day and Night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 33 – 35°C and 20 – 26°C respectively.
