The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Thursday December 8, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Dust Haze is expected with horizontal visibility of about 3-5km over places like Maiduguri, Nguru, Potiskum, Kano and Katsina. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 35 – 38°C and 15 – 23°C respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are expected over Abuja, Minna, Lokoja, Makurdi, Ilorin, Southern Kaduna and Jos. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 31 – 39°C and 14 – 25°C respectively.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy conditions are anticipated over this region in the morning hours, but later in the day there are prospects of isolated thunderstorms over Eket and Calabar. Sunny and Hazy conditions are expected over Enugu and Abakaliki throughout the forecast period. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 33 – 37°C and 22 – 26°C respectively.
