The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, on Thursday night hosted family members, close friends and associates to a dinner in celebration of his daughter, Jazmyne, following her graduation from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom.

The private celebration came a day after Jazmyne earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree with Upper Second-Class Honours from the prestigious British university.

The event, attended by relatives, political associates and well-wishers, was marked by goodwill messages and tributes to the graduate for her academic achievement.

Wike, who had earlier expressed pride in his daughter’s accomplishment, described the graduation as a joyous moment for the family and thanked God for making the feat possible.

He also appreciated friends and associates who joined the family in celebrating the milestone, noting that the occasion reflected the value of hard work, discipline and commitment to excellence.

The minister had, in a congratulatory message after the graduation ceremony on Wednesday, said he and his wife were delighted to witness the fulfilment of their daughter’s academic journey.
