A businessman, Alhaji Lawal Hamisu, on Thursday prayed a Shari’a Court in Magajin Gari, Kaduna to order his 25-year-old son, Muhammad, to leave his house.
Lawal’s counsel, H.B Debo, told the court that his client’s son has a thriving business and can take care of himself and rent a place to stay.
“He disrespects me and does not obey me. I want him to leave my house in two weeks time,” Lawal said.
In his defence, Muhammad said: “Things are difficult right now. My business is not going well for me.
“I am working under someone. I can’t afford to rent a house. I use the proceeds from the business to feed and pay school fees”.
The Judge, Mallam Yakubu Abdullahi adjourned the case until Aug. 8 for ruling. (NAN)
