Eid-el-Kabir: Akpabio charges Muslims to learn from Mohammed’s virtues

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Chief Godswill Obot Akpabio, has urged all Moslems to learn from the virtues and teachings of Prophet Mohammed and to eschew from their lives anything that is against the path of peace as reflected in Islam.

He gave the advice in a goodwill message extending warm greetings to all Moslems on the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir.

The governor prayed that the mercies of the Almighty as reflected in the message of Islam shall be strengthened in the hearts of all Moslems and give them peace in all their efforts.

He appealed to Nigerians of all faiths to join Moslems in this season to pray for the peace of Nigeria and the success of the present administration of President Goodluck Jonathan.
