The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Monday, December 5, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Sokoto, Kano Gusau, Katsina and Yelwa should expect dust haze with reduce visibility range of 2-5km and some places may experience visibility less than 1,000m. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 31 – 38°C and 15 – 19°C respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Dust Haze conditions are anticipated over the region with reduce horizontal visibility range of 2-5km.
Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 33 – 35oC and 15 – 23oC respectively.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy morning is expected over the entire inland and the coastal cities in the morning hours. Cloudy to partly cloudy conditions are also expected over the inland in the afternoon with prospects of isolated thunderstorms over Port-Harcourt, Calabar, Lagos, Eket, Yenagoa and Ikom. The Day and Night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 30 – 35°C and 20 – 27°C respectively.
