The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Saturday, November 3, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: The region should expect dust haze with reduced visibility range of 2-5km. Places like Maiduguri, Nguru, Potiskum. Kano and Katsina and may experience visibility less than 1,000m. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 35 – 38oC and 14 – 23oC respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Dust Haze conditions in good visibility are expected over this region. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 31 – 39oC and 14 – 25oC respectively.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy skies are expected over the entire inland and the coast in the morning except over Calabar, Uyo, and Awa Ibom with prospect of localised thunderstorm. Later in the day, there are chances of isolated thunderstorms over Oshogbo, Abeokuta, Ibadan, Akure, Umuahia, Owerri, Asaba, Benin, Warri, Lagos,
and Ijebu Ode, Ikom, Yenagoa, Port Harcourt and Eket. The Day and Night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 33 – 37oC and 22 – 26oC.
