The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Thursday, November 2, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: The region should expect dust haze in moderate visibility of 3-5km throughout the forecast period. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 34 – 39°C and 15 – 22°C respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Hazy conditions are expected over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 35 – 38°C and 22 – 23°C respectively, except over Jos with 31/13°C.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy skies are expected over the entire inland and the coast in the morning except over Port Harcourt, Yenagoa and Eket with chances of isolated thunderstorms. Later in the day, there are chances of isolated thunderstorms being anticipated over Oshogbo, Ado-Ekiti, Ibadan, Akure, Lagos, Warri, Yenegoa, Portharcourt and Eket axis. The Day and Night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 32 – 36°C and 21– 23°C.
