Not fewer than eight monarchs and former Nigerian president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, with other eminent Nigerians, were present when Dr Jerry Oluranti was formally installed as the first Jagunmolu of Orile Itesi, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The event was held at the palace of the Olu of Orile Itesi, Oba Adeniyi Oluyinka Emulu.

The presence of the eight monarchs and other eminent Nigerians at the event signalled a profound institutional endorsement of the new Jagunmolu’s character and high standing within the Yoruba Kingdom.

Upon the completion of the sacred traditional rites and royal customs, Dr Oluranti was officially presented with his certificate of installation, cementing his place in the historical fabric of Orile Itesi.

The celebrations transitioned into a high-octane grand reception, drawing an elite gathering of captains of industry, community pillars, family, and well-wishers.
