The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Thursday, December 1, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Gusau, Katsina, Nguru, Maiduguri and Sokoto are expected to be under the influence of dust haze in good horizontal visibilities while other places, especially Kaduna, Zaria, Bauchi, Gombe and Minna, will experience sunny and hazy conditions throughout the forecast period. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 35 – 40°C and 14 – 22°C respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy conditions are anticipated over the high grounds areas of the central cities, throughout the forecast period.
Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 34 – 38°C and 16 – 24°C respectively.
SOUTHERN STATES: The inland cities and the coast are expected to be cloudy in the morning hours with prospects of isolated thunderstorms over Lagos, Calabar, Port Harcourt, Warri, Ikom and Yenagoa including Ijebu-Ode, Oshogbo, Enugu and Akure axis in the afternoon/evening hours.
Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 36°C and 22 – 26°C respectively.
