The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Wednesday, November 30, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions in good horizontal visibility are expected to prevail over Katsina, Kano, Sokoto, Maiduguri and Nguru during the forecast period. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 35 – 39°C and 15 – 22°C.
CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy situation will be experienced over the cities around the central states with prospects of isolated thundery activities over the high ground areas such as Lokoja and Makurdi during the evening/ night hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 30 – 36°C and 13 – 23°C.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy morning is anticipated over the areas. There is possibility of isolated thunderstorms in few places over the high ground areas like Oshogbo, Akure, Ado-Ekiti, Enugu and Awka including coastal cities such as Lagos, Port Harcourt, Calabar and Eket in the evening/night hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 32 – 35°C and 21 – 24°C.
