Today, we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Pius Oghenevwairhe Ughakpoteni—a man of integrity, wisdom, humility, and quiet strength.
His calm presence, thoughtful leadership, and genuine kindness earned him the respect and admiration of all who knew him. He led not by seeking recognition, but by consistently demonstrating character, professionalism, and compassion.
His portrait beautifully reflects the man he was. His traditional attire symbolizes dignity and cultural pride; the gold embroidery speaks of honor and meaningful service; the pen in his pocket reminds us of his lifelong commitment to learning, mentorship, and the power of knowledge.
Though his earthly journey ended on June 11, 2026, his legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched, the values he embodied, and the example he set.
Our heartfelt condolences go to his beloved family, friends, classmates, colleagues, and everyone privileged to know him.
May his memory continue to inspire us to live with integrity, lead with humility, and serve with purpose.
