The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Sunday, November 28, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Sokoto, Nguru Katsina, Dutse, Kano, Gusau and Maiduguri are expected to be in sunny and hazy conditions with good horizontal visibilities throughout the forecast period. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 35 – 39°C and 19 – 23°C respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy is expected over the region during the forecast period. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 – 37°C and 22 – 25°C respectively.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy conditions are expected over the inland cities and the coast with chances of isolated thunderstorms in the morning hours. There are prospects of localised thunderstorms over Akure, Ondo, ijebu-ode, Enugu, Warri, Ikom, Lagos, Calabar, Port Harcourt, and Yenagoa in the afternoon/evening hours. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 33 – 35°C and 22 – 24°C respectively.
