Victor Osimhen
Victor Osimhen has described his current spell at Galatasaray as nothing short of a career peak, revealing that the Turkish Super Lig champions have given him some of the most joyful and fulfilling months of his professional life.
The Nigerian striker played a pivotal role in Galatasaray’s historic weekend, helping the Yellow-and-Reds secure their fourth consecutive league title with a commanding 4-2 victory over Antalyaspor.
Osimhen was the star of the show, netting two clinical goals that sealed the win and sent the home crowd into raptures.
Speaking to Galatasaray’s official YouTube channel, the 25-year-old did not hold back his emotions.
“I’m experiencing one of the best periods of my career,” Osimhen said, a wide smile visible throughout the interview.
“I feel great. This is the best so far. I’m experiencing one of the best, most fulfilling periods of my career.”
He went on to reflect on the team’s collective achievement, emphasizing that the title was no accident.
“We deservedly lifted the trophies,” he added. “I’m enjoying it very much, I’m very happy.”
But Osimhen is already looking ahead. While basking in the glow of another championship, he warned that Galatasaray’s dominance has made them the team everyone wants to dethrone.
“Next season will be even tougher,” he predicted. “All teams want to beat Galatasaray. We will continue to work much harder. We will fight harder. We will do our best to win next season as well.”
For now, though, the Super Eagles star is soaking in every moment — confident that his best football is being played in the famous red-and-yellow jersey. (LEADERSHIP)
