Governor Soludo

Immediate past Commissioner for Information, Dr Law Mefor, haa been reappointed by the Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo to spearhead the Ministry for the second tenure.
Mefor's name was contained in a list of 18 commissioner nominees signed by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime on Tuesday.
Also re-appointed were, the Commissioners for Finance and Health, Izuchukwu Okafor and Dr. Afam Obidike.
According to the press release, the Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Nkem Udeze has recieved the first batch of commisoner nominees from the Governor for confirmation during today's (Tuesday) plenary.
It read in part, "Mr. Speaker has thus referred the following names to the Committee on Screening And Election Matters;
1. Agriculture — Dr. Ben Chuks Odoemena
2. Budget and Economic Planning— Mr. Chukwukadibia Okoye, FCCA
3. Culture, Entertainment and Tourism — Mr. Udoji Amedu
4. Education — Dr. Ekene Ogugua
5. Environment — Dr. Clem Aguiyi
6. Finance — Mr. Izuchukwu M. Okafor
7. Health — Dr. Afam Obidike
8. Information and Value Reformation — Dr. Law Mefor
9. Justice/Attorney-General — Barr. Tobechukwu Nweke, SAN
10. Lands — Prof. Offornze Amucheazi, SAN
11. Local Government and Community Affairs— Barr. Vin Ezeaka
