The Nigeria Revenue Service has reaffirmed its commitment to delivering a more efficient and customer-focused tax administration system as it counts down to the official launch of its new digital platform, Rev360, scheduled to go live on April 30.
In a post on its verified X account, the agency described Rev360 as the fulfilment of its promise to carry taxpayers along on an innovative and seamless journey.
“As we countdown to the Rev360 Go-Live on April 30, 2026, the Nigeria Revenue Service promised to take taxpayers along on an innovative and customer-centric journey. Rev360 is a product of that promise. You say transformation, we say Rev360!!!” the post stated.
The announcement signals the agency’s push to modernise tax administration through technology-driven reforms aimed at simplifying processes, improving compliance and enhancing user experience for individuals and businesses across the country.
Industry observers say the launch of Rev360 could mark a milestone in the ongoing digitisation of Nigeria’s revenue collection framework. With taxpayers increasingly demanding faster and more transparent services, the new platform is expected to provide easier access to registration, filing, payment and support services.
Although full operational details of the platform have yet to be released, expectations are high that Rev360 will streamline interactions between taxpayers and the revenue authority while reducing manual bottlenecks often associated with legacy systems.
The development comes amid broader efforts by the Federal Government to expand the tax base, increase non-oil revenues and strengthen fiscal sustainability through improved tax administration.
Stakeholders in the business community have welcomed moves to deploy modern digital tools that reduce compliance burdens and improve efficiency.
As the launch date draws closer, taxpayers and corporate organisations are expected to monitor further guidance from the Nigeria Revenue Service on onboarding procedures and the features of the new system.
The Rev360 initiative is widely seen as part of a larger transformation agenda designed to reposition revenue administration in line with global best practices. (Nigerian Tribune)
