Nigerian singer, Awosika Olayemi Josiah, popularly known as Fido, has shared details about his earnings from music.

He made the statement during a livestream with content creator Shank, who asked about the highest amount he had earned in a single month, an amount that convinced him to stay committed to music.

In response, Fido said he once made close to N1 billion within a month, noting both his income and spending during that period.

“Omo, almost a billion naira, yes, no cap. With the spending and income, almost a billion naira,” he said.

Born in Lagos in 1997, the singer gained fame in 2024 with his viral hit “Joy is Coming,” showcasing a blend of Fuji and contemporary pop.

Fido is an independent artist who manages his own music career away from affiliation with a major record label. The singer is celebrated for his resilience, with his music gaining significant recognition on streaming platforms.(Nigerian Tribune)
