Nasarawa Dep Speaker, Rt Hon Muhammad Adamu Oyanki
The Deputy Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Muhammad Adamu Oyanki, was involved in a motor accident along the Keffi-Akwanga highway, on Monday.
The accident occurred around 10 a.m.
His damaged vehicle was later evacuated to the Assembly complex in Lafia.
The Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau, alongside other members of the Assembly, on Monday inspected the wrecked vehicle at the complex.
Describing the incident as unfortunate, Jatau expressed gratitude to God that no life was lost in the crash.
“We thank Almighty God for saving the life of the Deputy Speaker from the auto crash. We are grateful that he is alive and safe,” Jatau said.
It was gathered that the deputy speaker is in stable condition. (Daily Trust, but headline reworked)
