25-year-old Emmanuel Oyelami Timileyin has joined the league of Nigerian students shining as beacons of academic excellence both nationally and globally, having bagged First Class at the Nigerian Law School (2026).
Expectedly, Oyelami’s latest academic feat earned him a truckload of congratulatory messages on various social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and Instagram.
The flood of profound commendations from many social media commentators for Oyelami shows that he meant different things to different people at different points in his academic journey from secondary school through university.
News about his record-breaking academic achievement since his secondary school days has taken over social media space.
To many scholars, Oyelami’s achievement was not a surprise. His track record shows that he has been knocking on the doors of success over the years through hard work and a consistent pursuit of excellence.
Oyelami, who hails from Oyo State, was born on September 29, 2000. He attended Saint Francis Catholic College, Oyo.
Achieving a First Class (LL.B) at the prestigious University of Ibadan, it marked a significant milestone in his academic journey
Before proceeding to the Nigerian Law School, he had already distinguished himself at UI, where he graduated in 2024 as the best graduating student in International Law and Jurisprudence from the Faculty of Law.
The enthralling odyssey of Oyelami’s academic excellence so far shows he did not stumble into prominence by accident but intricately sketched his way to the top. He equally had a sterling performance of nine A1s in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in 2016.
He bagged A1 in the following subjects: Christian Religious Studies, Government, Literature-In-English, Civic Education, English Language, French, Yoruba, Mathematics, Dyeing and Bleaching.
