The All Progressives Congress has announced that at its national convention in 2026, candidates for national office will be screened.
According to a notice released by the Aspirants’ Screening Committee, all candidates who have successfully purchased and filed their Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms are invited to the exercise.
The statement states that the screening would take place at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, starting at 9 a.m.
The committee stressed that all candidates must present in person and provide all necessary supporting documentation for verification.
The notification, which was posted on APC’s X handle on Sunday and signed by Isa Yuguda, the secretary of the Aspirants’ Screening Committee, included phone numbers for additional questions.
The post read, “The Aspirants’ Screening Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention 2026 hereby invites all aspirants who have duly purchased and submitted Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to contest for National Offices at the Convention to attend the screening exercise scheduled as follows:
“All aspirants are required to attend in person and arrive promptly with all relevant supporting documents for verification.”
In preparation for the 2026 National Convention of the APC, where party officials at various national levels are anticipated to emerge, the screening process is a crucial phase. (The Sun)
